Job description:

Seeking a Business Analyst with a strong background in Workday applications, specifically Finance and Supply Chain


Position summary:

  • As a progressing domain resource and steward, the Business Applications Analyst (Mid-Level II) operates as an ecosystem generalist and growing sub-ecosystem specialist for digital technologies across a portfolio of enterprise applications and products. With moderate independence, the role performs application lifecycle administration, request fulfillment, customer support, identity governance and administration, application portfolio management, documentation and knowledge management, education, operational discipline, workload management, and continuous improvement to support reliable, secure, and compliant operations.
  • Business Applications Analyst: As a Business Applications Analyst, the role supports the "business" applications digital ecosystem by contributing to the enablement of "people" and "processes" across the organization to succeed. The ecosystem includes Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) platforms and related back-office capabilities such as Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS), timekeeping, payroll, finance/accounting, procurement and supply chain, contract/vendor management, process improvement, and other administrative digital platforms. The role partners with business stakeholders with moderate independence to address workflow needs and help ensure reliable service delivery.

Required Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:

  • Effectively lead complex, cross-functional initiatives; negotiate and drive meaningful outcomes with vendors; influence diverse stakeholders without formal authority; communicate with clarity and credibility across executive, clinical, and operational audiences; accelerate adoption and deliver measurable results; make informed, risk-aware decisions under pressure; and ensure teams uphold rigorous data-quality, documentation, and inventory standards.
  • Expert knowledge of lifecycle, release, and environment management across complex application ecosystems; strong command of integrations, AP!s, interface engines, and data models; deep understanding of regulatory, security, and compliance requirements for supported systems; advanced familiarity with domain value streams and operating models; mastery of configuration management and enterprise application portfolio practices; advanced understanding of !GA, RBAC, and control frameworks; and proven ability to apply governance, risk, and continuous-improvement methodologies to drive operational excellence.
  • Expert-level proficiency using ITSM and backlog tools to manage complex operational workflows; strong capability in designing and executing comprehensive test strategies; highly effective facilitation and communication across technical, operational, and executive audiences; produces precise, audit-ready technical documentation; maintains authoritative mastery of CMDB and application inventory tools; and delivers clear, impactful change-adoption messaging that drives measurable uptake and improvement.


Position Requirements:

  • 5+ years Information Services experience in application support, clinical or business operations, or related field.
  • 2+ years' experience in Workday, specifically finance and supply chain functions required
  • On-call and non-business hours will occasionally be required
