Job Description
We are looking for a highly motivated, detail-oriented Associate Business Analyst to join our growing team. In this entry-level role, you will act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams. You will be responsible for gathering project requirements, analyzing workflows, and helping design data-driven solutions to improve company efficiency.

Roles and Responsibilities
As a fresher, you will work under the guidance of senior analysts and project managers to execute the following duties:Requirement Gathering: Assist in conducting interviews, workshops, and meetings with stakeholders to understand their operational needs. Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive project artifacts, including Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Specification Documents (FSDs), process flowcharts, and user stories. Process Mapping: Analyze existing business workflows to identify bottlenecks and suggest areas for automation or optimization. Data Analysis: Work with basic datasets using Excel or SQL to uncover trends, compile operational metrics, and support data-backed decision-making. Testing Support: Collaborate with the Quality Assurance (QA) team to create test cases and participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure the final product matches business needs. Cross-Team Liaison: Act as a clear communication channel between developers, designers, and business users to keep project goals aligned.
️ Key Skills & Qualifications
Technical Skills (Basic/Academic Knowledge)
Documentation & Modeling: Familiarity with wireframing and flowchart tools (e.g., MS Visio, Lucidchart, or Miro).
Data & Analytics: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables). Foundational knowledge of SQL queries or data visualization tools like Power BI / Tableau is a big plus.
Agile Frameworks: Basic understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Soft Skills
Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to simplify technical ideas for non-technical users.
Problem-Solving: Strong critical-thinking ability to approach complex problems logically.
Time Management: Ability to multitask, manage deadlines, and quickly adapt to changing priorities.
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration (BBA), Computer Science (B.Tech/BCA), Information Technology, Economics, or a related quantitative field
